What’s New at Casa de la Playa?
Protocols are still in place. Social distancing is to be respected and masks are required for indoor common areas. Please check with the resort prior to your arrival for current CDC Covid-19 guidelines.
It appears that San Diego County has returned to normal. Everything is now open and restaurants and bars are at full capacity. Restaurants are open for indoor and outdoor dining. Stores and shops are open. Local movie theaters are also opened.
Theme Parks like Disneyland, Legoland and Sea World are now open. If you are planning to visit any of these parks on your next visit, be sure to go to their website to purchase tickets and get details.
Becoming a Board Member
Have you thought about becoming a member of Casa de la Playa’s Board of Directors but are not sure what that would entail? Please call the Casa office and we would be happy to discuss the commitments and obligations with you. The new board member would begin to serve in 2022. We appreciate your consideration.

Bayfair – San Diego Bayfair and America’s Finest BBQ Festival is returning September 17-19, 2021 in Mission Bay. Three days of boat racing including the Grand Prix World Supercharged Hydroplanes. Barbeque and Craft Beer Festivals round out a great weekend.
La Jolla Art and Wine Festival – Save the Date! October 9th & 10th from 10am – 6pm. A free event! Live music, wine and beer garden, and amazing art. Featuring over 170 artists and craftsmen.
