Thinking about Becoming a Board Member?
We have a member retiring from the Board of Directors this year. We would like to take this opportunity to give a big Thank You to Richard Kiner for his many years of service and dedication to Casa de la Playa. He will be greatly missed on the Board but we look forward to seeing him during his visits to Casa!

What’s New at Casa de la Playa?
We are trying our best to keep things running as smoothly as possible for our owners here at Casa. As you may be aware, the new spa project has been put on hold. At this time, the existing spa and deck are available for use with certain guidelines. The spa may only be used by one room at a time. Social distancing protocols are in place, and wearing of masks on property is mandatory.
Mandated changes can happen quickly. As we follow the state and county guidelines, please contact the resort prior to arrival for the most recent Covid-19 updates.
In the village, unfortunately, several restaurants have closed for good. On the flip side, there are a few that went ahead with their plans to open new restaurants, even in this uncertain time. Dine in or take out only options seem to constantly be in flux with the latest mandates. It appears that beaches and parks are open for everyone to enjoy the fresh air and exercise.
Things to do
Aquatica and SeaWorld are among those trying to stay open on a limited basis. It is difficult to keep up with closures, so if there is a favorite place you would like to visit, please obtain the most current information from their website. Theme parks are getting very creative, like SeaWorld’s drive by Parade of Lights.
